This state-of-the-art
hockey training facility will be the first of its kind and the only professional
hockey training facility in Southern California dedicated to developing the
skills of players on and off the ice. Fully funded by former professional hockey
player Steve Phillips, owner of Phillips Hockey and president of
Hockeycontractor Inc., the Hockeycontractor Training Center, with several unique
features, will allow players of all ages and skill levels to train off the ice
using professionally developed programs that are laid out in a circuit
training format. Each of these circuits will take
60 minutes to complete and will focus on flexibility, stabilization, strength,
power, and specific hockey skills such as skating, shooting, and puck handling.
With over 3000sqft of training space between two full ice skating surfaces,
Phillips Hockey and the Hockeycontractor Training Center will be the FIRST full
service hockey training facility around.
